Execution Fuel

Ideas are execution fuel.

Ideas ultimately give you both your destination and your route. Harnessing the power of ideas is key to success.

Creativity is the seat of ideation. The conceptualization of ideas. Both new and recycled. Most that we think is not new. Even new ideas, very successful ideas are not necessarily new... as components. But together they equate to something much more than the sum of their parts.

Take Dan Brown's "The Da Vinci Code". The ideas about Christianity and the true fate of Jesus Christ have been around for centuries. Many thrillers have existed before. But when you take the right mix of these things they can amount to something very successful. Something that appears new (many people through the pretext for The Da Vinci Code was invented by Mr. Brown. He himself admits this is not the case).

Idea's enable you to set your targets by seeing where you are going to go. They also enable you to build you road, your strategy to get there. They then enable you to fuel your achievement vehicle along the way, dealing with the pitfalls and optimizing your journey.

A final thought; Neurons exist. They are not 'new' so to speak. The connections made between them are all very similar, if not identically. However it is the configuration, the connection of the sum of the parts that gives rise to everything that you do. Everything you then create.
