Ponderings in a corner of the universe

I signed up for LinkedIN 3 years ago. I recall having a problem with it at the time, part of which was there was no one on it when it was new. Now it’s a different story completely. My relatively new network is growing rapidly, and through 2 degrees of separation I’m connected to almost 100,000 people.

I started using it again out of interest – finding Agencies for jobs, old friends etc.

I seem to have become horribly addicted in the past few days as I have found out how many people the people that the people I know, know. I found 1 chap, in my area who knew someone that knew about 5 of my friends/work colleges.

It fascinating to see all the connections, read about all the people… yes, it is also scary.

100,000 people. That’s no small number.
