Ponderings in a corner of the universe

Far be it from me to be a political analyst. I just happened to read this article in a recent edition of Rolling Stone. I found it fascinating, and potentially very scary.

I found the beginning very interesting and compelling. As the article went on I felt like there was allot of data thrown at me which I had no bearing on the story it told. The article certainly poses some interesting facts and data. In some cases I’m sure there is opposing data. And of course there will be a defense against this.

It does look at the whole US voting system but focuses on the issues perceived or real, in Ohio.

Either way its an interesting read and draws attention to voting being the foundation of democracy and the need for robust, fair voting systems that maximize the number of people who can vote, and have their vote counted.
