Frontal matching the below story :)

La Geisha

Jury is still out on a name for my lovley. Marisa's father Enrique Tessada has called his baby 'The dama'... aka 'The lady'. I think its sounds pretty cool... However on my front I still havn't found something appropriate. As she was born in Japan the closest I have is Geisha. Doesn't really work tho...

Look how flipping sweet she looks in this photo (Marisa hates how I call my 8 a 'her') lol.

All show shine polished action. This is a Zaino job. Highly recomend all their products.

Marisa also didn't understand how I spent (including inside people) 5hrs "washing" her. Although it included clay bar, 2 polishes, and even down to 'tail pipe' (exhaust) care :) Posted by Picasa

Addicted to "LinkedIN"

I signed up for LinkedIN 3 years ago. I recall having a problem with it at the time, part of which was there was no one on it when it was new. Now it’s a different story completely. My relatively new network is growing rapidly, and through 2 degrees of separation I’m connected to almost 100,000 people.

I started using it again out of interest – finding Agencies for jobs, old friends etc.

I seem to have become horribly addicted in the past few days as I have found out how many people the people that the people I know, know. I found 1 chap, in my area who knew someone that knew about 5 of my friends/work colleges.

It fascinating to see all the connections, read about all the people… yes, it is also scary.

100,000 people. That’s no small number.

Management Task Cycle (r)

I'm not sure who owns copyright on this - but credit to you! I think credit rests here with the booth company.

One of many of the motivational/process images I have posted in my cube. Posted by Picasa

Anarchy in Folsom

Folsom is very much modern, west coast suburbia. Many track homes. Few mature trees (the ones that existed had to be removed to make way for the homes etc.). There are also many strip malls. This was snapped in a chain restaurant at a lunch time in one of said malls.

Although I clearly do not condone graffiti. I found the content amusing.

Of course I'm not a part of the problem, I'm a part of the solution ;-) Besides, I don't live in Folsom. I just work there :-). Posted by Picasa

Was the 2004 USA Election Stolen?

Far be it from me to be a political analyst. I just happened to read this article in a recent edition of Rolling Stone. I found it fascinating, and potentially very scary.

I found the beginning very interesting and compelling. As the article went on I felt like there was allot of data thrown at me which I had no bearing on the story it told. The article certainly poses some interesting facts and data. In some cases I’m sure there is opposing data. And of course there will be a defense against this.

It does look at the whole US voting system but focuses on the issues perceived or real, in Ohio.

Either way its an interesting read and draws attention to voting being the foundation of democracy and the need for robust, fair voting systems that maximize the number of people who can vote, and have their vote counted.

"New" Ground Zero 9/11 Photos

These photos are pretty crazy! Very detailed. Very scary.

These photos were taken at Ground Zero, the World Trade Center site in New York, on September 13, 2001.

They were taken by someone named "Ed" who was allowed into the area by a member of the emergency response crew, at a time when all civilians -- including most journalists -- were forbidden to enter the area. As a result, these photos are just about the only close-ups ever taken of the World Trade Center site so soon after the 9/11 attacks.
