Great Quote

Thanks Joe!

"To laugh often and much; to win the respect of
intelligent people and the affection of children; to
earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the
betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to
find the best in others; to leave the world a bit
better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or
a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has
breathed easier because you have lived. This is to
have succeeded." - Ralph Waldo

Intel's Cultural Decline

A friend sent me the link to this book! It looks fascinating, I must say. If I didn't have a pile of very worthwhile books (a literal pile, many of which Christmas artifacts) that I am enjoying ploughing through then I might grab a copy...

Admit it, Leave a note

Look,

You know who you are. People who scratch or ding other peoples cars. OK, OK accidents happen. The door just swung open and you were not paying attention. Coffee in one hand, trying to do too much at once. Maybe you should be paying a bit more attention in general hey? And yeah, there may be times when you don't realise what you just did. And those times generally will polish or buff out. No harm. No foul. But there are clearly times when you had to have known what you did. You went though the flipping clear coat ma man. You realised that happened. You left your blue paint smeared across my silver as you exposed the black of the body coloured bumper underneath. Unless you are truly stupid. Are you?

Would you key some ones car? No? Well you just did, net effect is pretty much the same.

Admit it. Leave a note. Offer the person a $100 to rectify your mistake. Do the decent. Right thing.

Its times like these I really really really hope there is such a thing as CARma.
