Long time, no post
I've now officialy relocated to the USA for the forseable future. Living in California and still working for that major silicon company.Being away from home really tought me what the value of friends and familly are. I'm preapred to be friends with anyone, save for liars and manipulators, but being away from those who I've been friends with for so long really helped me understand the value I place in good friends. Even if I can't see a friend for years I can pick up where we left off... I've got over the fact that even some of my best friends are once or twice a year visits now. And with every one (ok, not everyone, lots of people) getting married and having kids it changes the social landscape any way!
This time I think I found it harder before I left the UK than when I was actualy away from it. When I was still with friends and familly it was easy to imagain not being with them. Now I'm away, I miss them, its just that I've got so much stuff to do... I guess being kept busy occupies the mind. I still expect to have pangs of missing my loved ones at home!
Wonder if it'll be so long until my next post :-)
